Munich, Germany – April 13, 2025 – ZC Rubber showcased its latest WESTLAKE Off-The-Road (OTR) tire innovations at BAUMA 2025, held in Munich from April 7–13. Designed for the most demanding off-road environments, WESTLAKE’s latest lineup demonstrates the brand’s commitment to delivering durable, high-performance tire solutions for heavy-duty applications.
At the show, WESTLAKE debuted the 29.5R25 CB740 tire, specifically designed for articulated dump trucks. Featuring a robust block tread design, the tire offers enhanced ground contact, stability, and superior resistance to punctures and wear. The tread depth has been increased by 17% compared to the TRA standard E-4 pattern, effectively extending the tire’s service life. Additionally, the multi-compound design adapts to various operating conditions, while the upgraded sidewall compound boosts puncture resistance by 10% and reduces crack propagation by 15%.
WESTLAKE also presented the 35/65R33 CB398 for underground mining trucks and the 290/90-20 EL08 for wheel excavators, underscoring its expertise in high-demand, heavy-duty operations.
